A Very Merry Mixup
This is a romance, Christmas movie. I actually enjoy this one, probably because I can relate to Alice and Matt in the movie.
Anyway, there are 2 things that are in the movie that I think should be referenced at the end.
The first is the mention of when Matt's fiancee wouldn't walk in the rain. This is the first indication to Alice that they are compatible because she agrees that love walks through the rain. So at the end, it should have been raining when she goes to meet Matt. They see that they are both willing to walk through the rain for the other - then it could turn to magical snow.
The other is the time of 8:42. This is the time Grandpa met his wife. There is another story of the time stopping at 11:58. At the end of the movie, the clock that Matt made stops at 11:58 and it makes them think of the fairy tale story. I think the clock should have stopped at 8:42. He could have been surprised when she tells him it stops and naturally would ask if it was 11:58. when she tells him it was 8:42, that would be even more meaningful to them.
